Job Summary
Administer and coordinate all aspects of security activities to ensure compliance with federal regulations and NISPOM standards. Provide security support for classified meetings, process new employee clearances, and brief hires on security procedures. Maintain the program security database, review policies, and provide continuous training in OPSEC, COMSEC, and security awareness. Ensure all personnel maintain appropriate clearances and identify issues to develop solutions for complex operational problems. This fully remote role includes up to 20% travel to support company initiatives. BVG & Company specializes in equipping organizations with Counter WMD capabilities and enhancing infrastructure resilience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an area applicable to the position
- 3+ years of experience in security compliance administration
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret DoD Security clearance
- SAP access
- SCI access
- Experience with DoD process and procedures
- Working knowledge of federal security requirements
- Ability to identify issues and develop solutions to a variety of complex problems of diverse scope
- Excellent troubleshooting and observational skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively interface, influence, and counsel employees, managers, and external
- Up to 20% of travel
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to complete a new employment drug test
- Ability to maintain a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing
- Eligibility requirements for access to classified material
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with DoD or DOE/NNSA
- Current and active DOE Q Clearance/Top Secret Clearance with the ability to acquire an SCI
- FSO Certification
- CDSE FSO Program Management
- Certified Professional (CPP)
- Industrial Security Professional (ISP)
- Physical Security Professional (PSP)
