Facility Sanitation Worker

Job Summary
Perform general cleaning in the St. Louis GMP processing areas as assigned. Maintain and store cleaning supplies and equipment, and operate all types of cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, pneumatic tools, pressure washers, and buffers. Execute occasional maintenance and operation of facility equipment while adhering to SOPs, change control, and validation processes for GMP compliance. Identify and report potential safety concerns or hazards and respond to internal customer needs professionally. Comply with Safety, EHS, State, FDA, and OSHA regulations along with all local and corporate policies. Work Mon-Thurs from 6a-4:30p in a team environment supporting ongoing plant operations efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- basic math skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- ability to work and succeed in a team environment
- Ability to lift 5-25 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift more than 25 lbs.
- Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills
- Team oriented
- flexible, able to adapt to changing assignments
- Able to function productively with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented
