Job Summary
Supervise on-site staff and manage coordination of facilities maintenance, landscaping, janitorial, refuse collection, and security services at the Birmingham, AL customer site. Meet cost, performance, and schedule requirements while inspecting preventive maintenance procedures, training personnel, and overseeing sub-contractors to ensure deliverables exceed client expectations. Partner with vendors for reliable supplies and evaluate productivity to drive continuous improvement. Actively participate in capital improvement plans and coordinate day-to-day operations. Requires 8 years of project management experience, an engineering degree, and fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years' experience as a project manager or engineering manager of a multi-disciplined workforce performing facilities maintenance functions
- 4-year Engineering Degree from an accredited college
- At least 5 years of experience with one of the following: a journeyman craftsman in the construction or facility engineering field; design or construction management experience in the engineering field; construction/facility related experience in the business field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to speak and comprehend the English language with the degree of fluency sufficient to perform their duties to meet contract requirements
