Facility/Procurement Officer

Job Summary
Inspect facilities and equipment for deficiencies, schedule and oversee maintenance and repair services, and manage procurement of supplies, equipment, and services including negotiating contracts and managing budgets. Oversee space planning and utilization, supervise facility staff and external contractors to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards, and respond appropriately to emergencies and urgent issues as they arise. Maintain detailed logs of complaints, repairs, and maintenance activities, and prepare weekly and monthly reports on facility activities. Requires technical knowledge of building systems, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and experience in budget management.

- Understanding of building systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to the facility
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
- Ability to supervise and motivate staff, as well as manage contractors
- Experience in managing budgets and tracking expenses
