Job Summary
Monitor all boilers, systems, and equipment while addressing operational issues and performing routine safety checks. Complete general carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, and snow removal of sidewalks, entryways, and dock areas. Supervise and participate in facility cleaning, remodeling projects, and emergency situations including flag raising and fire safety protocols. Maintain inventory, report major damage, and ensure exit doors and panic bars function properly. Perform roof inspections, assist contractors, and complete all required training. Work Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in general carpentry, plumbing and small voltage electrical repair
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months (required for Summit Middle School)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with direct digital control systems, fire alarm systems and HVAC
