Job Summary
Maintain and secure facility, make and maintain ice surface, and ensure regular cleaning of arena facilities. Drive and operate ice resurfacer while performing routine maintenance and janitorial functions during public hours. Demonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service for internal and external patrons. Work alone or with other positions as required by the facility activities schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and flexibility to work varying hours as seasons and service needs change.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- valid Driver's License
- self-starter with ability to analyze situations and develop solutions to problems with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with a variety of individuals and groups, interested in recreational matters, representing different interests
- strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to work varying hours especially as seasons and service needs change
- passing a thorough background check including a CORI, SORI and National Criminal History Background check
