Job Summary
Maintain and secure facility, make and maintain ice surface, and ensure facilities are cleaned on a regular basis. Drive/operate ice resurfacer and perform routine maintenance and janitorial functions while the arena is open to the public. Demonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service for internal and external customers. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to meet patron needs and complete job responsibilities. Requires HS Diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and ability to analyze situations with minimal supervision. Training provided; training rate $18/hour increasing to $20/hour upon completion.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- valid Driver's License
- self-starter with ability to analyze situations and develop solutions to problems with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with a variety of individuals and groups, interested in recreational matters, representing different interests
- strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to work varying hours especially as seasons and service needs change
