Job Summary
Maintain and secure facility, make and maintain ice surface, and ensure regular cleaning of arena facilities. Operate ice resurfacer and perform routine maintenance and janitorial functions while the facility is open to the public. Demonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service for internal and external customers while prioritizing multiple tasks and managing time effectively. Work varying hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to meet service needs. Training provided; compensation starts at $18 per hour and increases to $20 per hour upon completion.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- valid Driver's License
- self-starter with ability to analyze situations and develop solutions to problems with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with a variety of individuals and groups, interested in recreational matters, representing different interests
- strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to work varying hours especially as seasons and service needs change
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
