Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operations of the shop ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality work on all equipment while overseeing planned and unplanned maintenance, repair, and operations. Ensure facilities comply with federal, state/provincial, and corporate guidelines by managing inventory, tracking parts, and enforcing strict adherence to safety policies, environmental protocols, and regulatory requirements like TDG and WHMIS. Hire, train, supervise, and coach staff including mechanics and technicians; monitor performance, manage payroll, and lead performance reviews to foster accountability. Maintain customer relationships, support commercial growth, process work orders, and manage operating budgets to align financial performance with branch targets. This role reports directly to the Director, Area Operations and operates on a standard 40-hour work week with flexibility for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 5–7 years of experience in maintenance operations, or related industrial environments
- 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
