Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of properties across Canada, serving as the single point of contact for facility requests and building strong relationships with clients and tenants. Develop budgets for operations, transactions, and capital projects; analyze financial reports to re-forecast allocations and meet annual performance targets. Oversee all aspects of facility operations, including work orders, preventative maintenance schedules, and annual building inspections to ensure asset integrity and compliance with safety standards. Negotiate service contracts, monitor sub-contractor performance, and prepare tender documents for RFPs. Supervise team members, establish goals, and evaluate performance while recommending cost-saving alternatives for tenant requests.
Required Qualifications
- Five to ten years' experience in a property/facility management environment
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills

- Excellent at planning and organising
- Strong negotiation skills
- Knowledge of building standards and requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in a high touch environment with high client expectations
- Certified Facility Manager through International Facility Management Association (IFMA)
- Certified Property Manager through Institute of Real Estate Management
- Facility Management Administrator Designation through Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI)
