Job Summary
Facility Manager I role at Trademark Metals Recycling (a Nucor division) with lead-and-develop responsibilities to drive safety, production, and profitability. Requires a Bachelor's degree in business and either 2+ years in a business environment or 5 years in operations/manufacturing with leadership experience. Must read/interpret complex regulations and policies (safety, environmental, scrap purchasing, employee relations), develop people, drive continuous improvement in operations and equipment reliability, and understand financial statements and their impact. Strong verbal/written communication and proficiency with Microsoft Office; bilingual Spanish and English preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a business environment OR 5 years’ operations, heavy industrial or manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership ability and understanding of business management concepts
- Effective communication skills with people at all levels of employees within the organization
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
