Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repairs for the apartment complex, including common areas, amenities, and individual units. Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing concerns, handling complaints, and facilitating communication between tenants and property management. Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure operations stay within limits while conducting regular inspections to identify issues and safety hazards. Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, integrate technology solutions to streamline operations, and maintain accurate records for reporting key performance indicators. Implement emergency preparedness plans, conduct drills, and ensure compliance with local building codes, fire safety regulations, and environmental laws.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Apartment Facility Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a residential property management setting.
- Strong technical knowledge in building maintenance, repairs, and facility management practices.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance.
