Job Summary
Conduct daily diagnostic imaging coverage and manage youth facility operations from 9am to 9pm on Sundays, or from 2pm to 10pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. Coordinate with direct care staff and maintain therapeutic programs for residents in group homes or residential treatment settings. Ensure compliance with child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice system standards while supporting consumers, mentors, and caregivers. This role supports the department's mission within the youth facility team.
Required Qualifications
- Previously been employed as a full-time staff or served as a volunteer at a group home, short-term residential therapeutic program, or substance abuse treatment program for at least one year
- Relevant life experience in the child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice systems as a consumer, mentor, caregiver, or other relevant experience as determined by the department
- Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree
- Completed 12-semester units of Early Childhood Education or Psychology
- Sunday 9am - 9pm
- Monday 2pm - 10pm
- Tuesday 2pm - 10pm
- Wednesday - tbd
