Facility Manager - Federal Sector

Job Summary
Conduct daily facility operations including site inspections, deficiency identification, and corrective action coordination. Oversee facility renovation and construction projects from planning through closeout, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, permits, schedules, and safety requirements. Coordinate with government personnel, contractors, architects, and engineers to support planning, design reviews, scheduling, and project execution. Review contractor proposals, develop scopes of work, prepare planning documents, and perform technical feasibility studies. Lead QA/QC meetings, manage project controls and schedules, and oversee Contractor Quality Control compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain strong customer relationships while resolving issues to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Facilities Management, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience managing federal facilities, construction projects, quality assurance programs, or infrastructure initiatives
- Demonstrated knowledge of facility operations, building systems, construction management, project controls, and quality management practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and Microsoft Project
- Strong leadership, organizational, customer service, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing experience
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI), International Facility Management Association (IFMA), or similar credentials
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), or other secure federal facilities programs
