Job Summary
The Facility Manager will ensure the Greenwood, IN site operates safely, efficiently, and reliably by overseeing building systems, maintenance, and facility budgets. Responsibilities include monitoring and coordinating preventive/predictive/reactive maintenance for automation controls, HVAC, IT/audio & video, lighting, and other infrastructure; acting as the site Safety Program Coordinator to enforce safety policies in compliance with regulations; serving as a Shipping and Receiving backup; coordinating custodial services and meeting-room prep; conducting facility inspections and enforcing badge security; coordinating across departments, vendors, and contractors to support operations; and managing the facility budget with energy-saving initiatives and strategic insourcing where appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree (A.A. or A.S.) in a technical area and at least 3-5 years of related experience
- Local travel when necessary, less than 10% of the time
- Building automation and controls systems experience
- Plumbing, mechanical, and electrical repair experience
- Completion of OSHA 30 Hour Certificate (preferred)
- Knowledge of budgeting, expense tracking, forecasting, and planning (preferred)
- IT, audio/visual repair experience, including basic facility repairs and troubleshooting (preferred)
- Environmental & LEED compliance initiatives (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
