Job Summary
Lead and manage overall facilities operations and maintenance to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient building operations. Oversee the maintenance team across Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil systems, ensuring timely execution of preventive and corrective maintenance. Manage daily activities including operations, resource planning, and incident or crisis management while conducting regular inspections and troubleshooting. Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, QHSE requirements, and industry standards, and monitor service delivery performance against operational KPIs. Act as the main liaison for site operations, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and managing contractors to ensure performance standards. Support procurement activities including vendor selection and cost control. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and minimum 8 years of experience in facilities management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline from a recognized university
- Minimum 8 years of experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or plant/facility operations, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, utilities management, and building infrastructure
- Proven experience managing maintenance teams and external service contractors
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to prepare operational and performance reports
