Job Summary
Facility Manager needed for a remote overseas location with a defence partner. You’ll be responsible for the maintenance and day-to-day running of buildings and systems, with a mix of management activities and hands-on work. You may support build and installation projects as required, working as part of an international multi-discipline team and collaborating directly with the customer. The role is full-time (37 hours/week) based at a remote overseas site, offering rent-free accommodation and benefits. Candidates must have engineering qualifications or demonstrable relevant experience, DV security clearance (or ability to obtain), and be able to read electrical/mechanical drawings; IOSH Managing Safely is advantageous. The organization emphasizes security clearance, continual improvement, sub-contractor management, and cross-disciplinary collaboration with engineers and subject-matter experts.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Facility/operations management experience
- Experience in reading and understanding electrical and mechanical drawings
- Experience managing sub-contractors
- Experience of creating and implementing processes and driving continual improvement activities
- Engineering qualification or demonstrable experience in relevant roles
- IOSH Managing safely would be advantageous
- Security Clearance
- Developed Vetting (DV) suitability
