Job Summary
Facility Maintenance Technician responsible for day-to-day maintenance and custodial tasks in a cannabis cultivation/manufacturing facility. Performs electrical and mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs; works with contractors and vendors; on-call after business hours; handles loads/unloads and light building maintenance; conducts rounds to inspect doors, windows, and locks; identifies safety hazards and coordinates outside services as needed; operates hand tools and power equipment, including lifts and machine tools; may perform grounds maintenance and snow removal; emphasizes safety, organization, and reliability in a detail-oriented role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 – 5 years industrial work experience preferred, preferably in a manufacturing industry
- Ability to install, program, and troubleshoot variable frequency drives
- Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize work
- Safety practices policies and procedures
- Willingness to work overtime
- Overtime availability
- Ability to communicate and educate team in a timely manner
