Job Summary
Perform routine repairs on HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and general construction tasks including drywall, framing, and painting. Conduct facility inspections to identify issues and utilize CMMS software to track work orders and inventory. Assist with snow removal during winter months while adhering to safety protocols to maintain a clean work environment. Collaborate with team members to support departmental goals and participate in ongoing training programs. This role is based at Boston Logan International Airport with shifts running from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, offering days off on Tuesdays/Wednesdays or Wednesdays/Thursdays.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 1-year of commercial facility maintenance experience
- Possess a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience
- Working knowledge of general maintenance functions including light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, framing, drywall repair, and painting
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 10, hoisting licenses, EPA Universal Certification, or other trade licenses
- Familiar with CMMS software for effectively managing maintenance tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Mechanically inclined, motivated to learn, and able to apply new skills to support growth within the role
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic with consistent attendance, punctuality, and professionalism
