Facility Maintenance Technician III responsible for routine plant/equipment maintenance, implementing preventative maintenance, inspecting and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, monitoring temperature control, coordinating with machinists and trades contractors, operating equipment like forklifts, and supporting continual improvement initiatives while upholding safety and quality policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4-6 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and repair manuals
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to operate and service plant maintenance equipment
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC standard practices
- Physical capability to perform required duties (lifting up to 50 pounds, etc.)
