Job Summary
Ensure the facility is maintained in a satisfactory condition for all required production and manufacturing operations. Perform upkeep tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC work, utilizing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing troubleshooting skills. Install utility systems such as electrical, steam, air, and process piping, while reading machine prints to perform machine repair. Work under pressure in a production environment, handling repetitive actions and lifting up to 50 lbs to torso level. Requires exposure to plant material, pollen, and dust. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
- Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for current or future sponsorship at any time
- 1-3 years of industrial building maintenance
- Experience in a production environment using mechanical, electrical and plumbing trouble-shooting skills
- Hands-on experience in installation of piping systems (air, water, steam), industrial electrical installations and control circuits
- Ability to read machine prints and perform machine repair
- An ability to work well under pressure
- Relevant technical knowledge
- Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time
- Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level
- Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust
Desired Qualifications
- Utility installations (electrical, steam, air, process piping) is a plus
- HVAC Certified preferred
