Job Summary
Facility Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs on agency vehicles and program facilities, including routine servicing (oil changes, safety inspections, brakes, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC, wheelchair lift systems), coordinating larger repairs with outside vendors, and maintaining accurate service records in Word/Excel. Also supports facility maintenance projects (plumbing, electrical work, appliance installation/repair, painting, drywall, exterior maintenance, snow removal), prioritizes work orders, responds to maintenance requests, communicates with staff across programs, and participates in an on-call rotation. Requires the ability to work independently, lift up to 60 pounds, and work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in vehicle repair, fleet maintenance, or general maintenance
- Valid Colorado drivers license with insurable driving record
