Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at Penick Village performs building, equipment, and grounds upkeep to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff. Responsibilities include general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, preventive maintenance, responding to work orders, inventory management of supplies, and collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor. Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently, and willingness to handle varied tasks and occasional extended hours. Emphasis on applying traditional trade knowledge, precise measurements, problem-solving, and delivering courteous, professional service to residents, staff, and visitors.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of progressive experience in general maintenance trades
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance
- Ability to follow work orders and maintenance schedules
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair buildings, equipment, and machinery
