Job Summary
The Facility Maintenance Tech III will perform maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment and grounds at Gateway Regional Medical Center are kept in safe, efficient, and orderly condition. This role involves comprehensive knowledge of the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing trades, including installation, repair, and analysis of systems. The position is responsible for completing scheduled preventative maintenance, utilizing the work order system for documentation, assisting on minor construction projects, and ensuring documentation on equipment is properly maintained. A valid driver's license is required alongside significant experience in facility maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in an applicable trade or license/certification
- Six years trade-related experience or Military equivalent training and certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Journeyman equivalent knowledge of the general trades
- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems
