Facility Maintenance Team Member - Key City Park

Job Summary
Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility buildings, grounds, and parking lot while monitoring walkways, flower beds, and playing surfaces for weeds, grass, trash, water, and ice. Coordinate cleaning schedules, manage utilities including lights and temperature controls, and perform maintenance on sports equipment and machinery. Inventory and stock toolboxes, repair playing surfaces, and schedule or contract outside vendors as needed. Keep maintenance logs, paperwork, and supply inventories up to date, and complete special projects and daily assignments directed by the Facility Maintenance Manager. This role requires knowledge of building internals such as sprinkler and HVAC systems, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must have experience working with sports facilities and associated grounds and equipment
- General knowledge of maintenance, janitorial & landscaping
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification requirements
- Understand and follow both oral and written instructions
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective time management skills
- Prior experience using maintenance equipment and procedures
- Candidate must be available and willing to work long hours and varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Will be required to lift up to 50 pounds
- Will be required to work in all weather conditions
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend into awkward positions while performing job functions
