Job Summary
Perform and assist with facility maintenance for buildings, equipment, and grounds. Ensure equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently; use CMMS for preventative maintenance, repairs, and record-keeping; maintain accurate paperwork; follow GMP, safety, EPA and OSHA policies; interact respectfully with others; assist with sanitation and housekeeping; may operate Material Handling Equipment as trained ( forklift, reach truck, HiLo ); observe lock out/tag out procedures and PPE requirements; identify and suggest equipment or safety improvements; handle data and reporting tasks; adapt to fluctuating temperatures and a refrigerated environment; read labels and paperwork and follow headset/communication systems as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Experience operating Material Handling Equipment preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to read and understand label data
- Ability to tolerate and work in a refrigerated warehouse environment
- Ability to pass respirator fit test and wear respirator if required
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays
