Job Summary
Maintain facility safety and functionality through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and building systems. Diagnose equipment issues using manuals, schematics, and precision instruments to install, calibrate, and replace defective parts. Perform general building repairs on roofs, windows, doors, and drywall, while conducting fire safety checks and grounds maintenance including landscaping and snow removal. Document all activity and order parts through Epicor Kinetic, prepare cost estimates, and coordinate contractors. Work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional after-hours or emergency call-ins. Requires two to five years of experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and tablet-based tools.
Required Qualifications
- Two to five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and technical documents
- Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence and communicate effectively with employees, customers, and vendors
- Working knowledge of basic math, geometry, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
- Ability to identify problems, gather information, and draw sound conclusions
- Ability to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and schematics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and tablet-based tools such as iPad
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items with assistance or appropriate equipment
- Must be able to safely operate maintenance tools, powered equipment, and material handling equipment
- Occasional after-hours, weekend, or emergency call-in work may be required to support operational needs
- Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. - 3:30 pm
