Job Summary
Direct and develop a medium to large team of technicians while maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial refrigeration systems including ammonia, CO2, and Freon equipment. Manage capital expenditure and maintenance budgets to support operational efficiency, and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize asset uptime. Ensure strict adherence to PSM, OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards through vendor collaboration and stakeholder management. Requires 4+ years in industrial ammonia refrigeration with PSM program involvement, strong leadership experience, and advanced technical knowledge of CMMS systems. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with occasional weekend on-call support for projects.
Required Qualifications
- Minimally 4 years in industrial ammonia refrigeration maintenance within a logistics, cold storage, or manufacturing environment
- Direct PSM program involvement
- Strong experience managing and developing technical teams
- Advanced hands-on knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems, CO2, Freon, CMMS systems, and related controls
- Experience in CAPEX planning, budgeting, and cost control
- Ability to troubleshoot complex refrigeration systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives
