Facility Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Facility Maintenance Manager at a 3PL distribution/fulfillment center; responsible for preventive maintenance across electric, plumbing, HVAC, and security systems; maintains maintenance records, manages external vendors for larger projects, coordinates maintenance requests across all departments and leased spaces, supports operations with staffing and resources, enforces lock-out/tag-out procedures, ensures safe operation of equipment, handles budgeting for maintenance projects, and travels occasionally to Lancaster, PA and Reno, NV facilities. Requires reading safety rules and engineered/mechanical drawings; experience with conveyors, PLCs, AutoCAD is desired; supervisory experience and strong communication are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of related maintenance, carpentry, electrical, and equipment repair in a light industrial environment
- Prior experience managing facility related maintenance projects including vendor management
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, engineered drawings, architectural and mechanical prints
- Experience w/conveyors, PLC's, photo-eyes, scanners and imagers, basic warehouse equip. including stretch wrappers, pallet jacks, bailers, compactors and PIT's
- Strong communication skills
- Remain detail oriented while multi-tasking
- Proficient computer skills w/Microsoft office Suite: Outlook, Word, & Excel
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is desired
- Previous Supervisory experience is required
