Facility Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary
Respond to facility equipment breakdowns and perform timely troubleshooting, corrective repairs, and preventive maintenance for buildings, offices, and support equipment. Conduct routine inspections to analyze equipment performance, identify failure risks, and develop preventive maintenance plans. Prepare spare-part specifications, manage inventory levels, and coordinate facility improvement projects to ensure timely completion. Maintain grounds, landscaping, and facility support services while managing maintenance records, work orders, and KPI reports. Support bilingual communication and translate technical documents as required. This role requires three years of facility maintenance experience, a bachelor's degree in engineering, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.
Required Qualifications
- English and/or Mandarin
- Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers
- 3 years above experience in facility maintenance, utility systems, building maintenance or industrial maintenance
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Facility, Engineering or related field
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to turn at the waist, reach, bend, squat and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip)
- NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less
- FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more
- DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are
- FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
