Job Summary
Perform daily repair and maintenance across all club operations, including offices, public spaces, restrooms, kitchens, pools, grounds, and structural systems. Execute general repairs for electrical, HVAC, boilers, mechanical, and commercial equipment while maintaining exterior cleanliness through sweeping, vacuuming, and trash removal. Operate and drive a golf cart, manage outdoor camera and lighting systems, and identify supply needs for reporting to the supervisor. Adhere to OSHA and EPA safety policies, work in wet or outdoor conditions, and maintain flexibility to handle new tasks as directed by the Department Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school education
- up to three years related experience or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- English language skills to read a limited number or two and three syllable words
- ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
- ability to print and speak simple sentences
- ability to add and subtract two digit numbers
- ability to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one and two step instructions
- ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
- ability to frequently stand and walk
- ability to use hands to finger, feel or handle
- ability to reach with hands and arms
- ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch, sit, talk or hear
- ability to regularly lift or carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to climb ladders and work on roof tops
- ability to regularly use close, distance, color, and peripheral vision
- ability to adjust focus
- ability to frequently work in wet and humid conditions and near moving mechanical parts
- ability to frequently work in outdoor weather conditions
- ability to regularly work in moderate noise levels
- Must be at least age 18
- Must be able to operate and drive a golf cart
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
