Job Summary
Facility Maintenance Custodian is responsible for custodial and general maintenance duties for the Waterbury campus, including cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and equipment, responding to emergencies as the first responder, coordinating with outside contractors on special projects, on-call coverage, outdoor grounds maintenance, and light building updates; requires high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of maintenance experience, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and overtime availability. 40 hours per week, 7:30am-4pm, $23.27/hour with overtime eligibility; benefits package included.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of facility maintenance experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Ability to read, understand and comprehend shop service manuals pertaining to all grounds equipment/and ability to carry out service of equipment
