Job Summary
Maintain facility infrastructure and gym equipment across the Windsor region Crunch Fitness clubs. Perform routine maintenance, repair fitness equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, weight machines), and coordinate replacement parts. Monitor HVAC and lighting systems, ensure safety and cleanliness, conduct safety inspections, address facility-related issues promptly, manage maintenance and cleaning supplies inventory, and collaborate with the Facility Manager, housekeeping, and fitness trainers. Participate in ongoing training and development; 3-month contract with potential to transition to full-time; benefits available in 2025. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant facility-maintenance experience, knowledge of gym equipment maintenance, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, strong organization, and flexible on-call availability. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications in facilities management or maintenance are a plus)
- Proven experience in facility maintenance, building operations, or related fields, preferably in a gym or fitness environment
- Hands-on knowledge of gym equipment maintenance and repair
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and stand for long periods
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
- Must be flexible with work hours and on-call availability as needed
