Facility Integrity Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct high-level assignments for the Integrity Management Department, including collecting, integrating, and analyzing technical data for risk and integrity assessments. Implement Non-Destructive Examination and direct inspection methods while managing field projects that coordinate resources and technology utilization. Develop technical solutions, create project plans, and interface with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure appropriate documentation of inspection results. Provide training for inexperienced personnel and maintain knowledge of current practices, regulations, and industry codes. May direct or lead the work of others as needed. This role supports continued development of the Integrity Management Program within HF Sinclair's midstream operations.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of eight year's Plant, Terminal, and above Ground Storage Tank experience directly related to inspections, repairs and mechanical integrity program requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree Engineering or related technical discipline
- Certifications in API 570, API 510 or AMPP CIP Level 2
- Certification in lieu of a degree, is required
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Effective problem solver and troubleshooter
- good analytical and abstract thinker
- ability to use evaluation techniques
- Strong technical and project management
- Proficient in the use of Autocad drawings, P&ID's
- Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Access, Word, Project, Visio
- Working knowledge of GIS
- Advanced working knowledge of design, construction and operation of crude oil, refined products and gas facilities
- Thorough knowledge of Industry codes and regulations required by PHMSA §195 and 192
- Ability to process information quickly
- ability to develop rapport with HollyFrontier employees and contractors
- Active member in NACE and API
- The ability to effectively communicate to others, both written and verbal
- intermediate reading and writing skills
- the ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations
- up to 50% travel by land or air
- Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant based, and out-of-doors environment including, but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, rotating equipment and working in confined spaces
- Required to work in all temperatures including outdoors
- Subject to all temperatures, weather and varying road conditions

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Corrosion control methods, Risk Management, NDE, and Information Data Management Systems (PCMS)
- Understanding of inspection techniques and results
- understanding of corrosion prevention methods
- Risk Management principles
- proven ability to utilize data management systems with an interest in technology solutions
- Experience with PCMS IDMS
- Certification in API 570
- Other API certifications of interest are CWI, CIP Level 2, API 1169, API 510, and data analysis
