Job Summary
Locum tenens pulmonologist needed in Madison, WI to cover weekend shifts (7 am–7 pm) in a hospital setting with 8–14 adult patients per day. Responsibilities include bronchoscopy, ventilation management, central line and arterial line insertion, conscious sedation, arterial line insertion, and electric cardioversion. Preferred neuro and cardiac critical care experience and ECMO capability. No call coverage requirements; paid malpractice insurance; prepaid travel and housing expenses; assignment details tracked in an online portal; Weatherby Healthcare consultant support; charter member of NALTO.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO medical degree
- board-certified or board-eligible pulmonology
- locum tenens experience preferred
- ability to perform bronchoscopy and critical care procedures
- adult patient population
- no call coverage requirements (as stated)
