Job Summary
Locum gastroenterologist needed in El Paso, TX for call-only coverage with 30-minute response time. Responsibilities include ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and liver biopsy, upper and lower GI endoscopy with biopsy, PEG and esophageal dilatation, colonoscopy with biopsy and sigmoidoscopy, and call coverage for unassigned patients. Average 4 phone consults and 4 patients seen per 24-hour call. Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses. Assignment details and time entry in online portal.
