Job Summary
Conduct ongoing locum tenens assignments covering both inpatient and outpatient care for adult patients, with pediatric coverage preferred. Perform laparoscopic surgeries including appendectomy and cholecystectomy, as well as liver surgery and ventilation management. Manage central line and chest tube insertions while responding to beeper calls within a 30 to 60-minute window. Maintain scheduled clinical hours and call rotations at a facility in North Carolina. Submit assignment details and time entry through an online portal. Paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing, and competitive compensation are provided. Charter member of NALTO.
Required Qualifications
- Ongoing assignment -- scheduled clinical hours plus call
- Beeper call -- 30 - 60 minute response time required
- Both inpatient and outpatient coverage required
