Job Summary
Locums neurologist needed in Culver City, CA to provide hospital-based, acute care coverage. Responsibilities include stroke and tPA procedures, day shifts from M-Sun with night call, and handling a patient load of 10-20 per day. The assignment includes spot coverage, paid malpractice insurance, and pre-paid travel and housing expenses. You will work through Weatherby Healthcare with access to a dedicated consultant, and be part of a Weatherby locum-tenens team (NALTO member). Competitive hourly compensation ranges from $200 to $275, with all-inclusive rates reflecting base pay plus overtime, call, and holiday pay. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent medical license to practice neurology in California
- Board certification in Neurology or eligible for certification
- Locum tenens experience preferred
- Ability to perform stroke and tPA procedures
- Hospital-based practice with day shifts and night call
- Adequate malpractice insurance coverage
- Willingness to travel/stay for assignment
