Job Summary
Operate excavators and haul trucks on the customer site while unloading waste from incoming trucks. Ensure health and safety is the top priority by following all policies, processes, and standard operating procedures. Complete daily checklists for unit operation and submit paperwork for waste tracking movements. Secure all containers properly using chock blocks and jack stands. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Requires heavy equipment operating experience, forklift skills preferred, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Schedule includes Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with 2-3 Saturdays monthly.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Previous heavy equipment operating experience
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation as needed
- 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Mon-Fri schedule
- 2-3 Saturdays a month
