Facility Engineer - Wastewater Treatment Plant

Job Summary
In a Wastewater Treatment Plant environment you will be responsible for the effective financial and technical management of designated capital and maintenance expense projects in accordance with schedule requirements, quality levels, and planned costs through the efficient utilization of human resources, materials, supplies, facilities, and equipment. Define engineering project scope, review bid proposals, develop PERs/CERs, create conceptual designs and detailed drawings with time/cost estimates, and justify projects. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for planning and construction in line with specifications, scheduling, and safety/permit considerations. Track expenditures and progress; approve timesheets, equipment usage, materials, and invoices. Manage regulatory inspection projects and the Maintenance Department; collaborate with Operations to identify and resolve engineering projects. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations; assist in coordinating and supervising contract work. Education/Experience: BS in Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred) and three years of experience. Knowledge of API 650/653 standards preferred. Skills: computer proficiency, teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills, time management. Certification/Training: Valid Driver License. Required Qualifications
