Job Summary
Maintain, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance on all building systems including HVAC, plumbing, controls, electrical lighting, generators, and hot water systems. Conduct tests and rounds on building systems while maintaining records and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration equipment. Perform continuous operation checks on pumps, valves, piping, filters, variable frequency drives, and humidifiers. This role requires 3+ years of experience in a building engineer capacity, a Journeyman background, and valid driver's license. Based in the Mid-Atlantic region, the position offers an average starting rate of $30.00-$35.00 per hour with medical, dental, vision, 401K, and profit-sharing benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Well-rounded background as a Journeyman
- 3+ years of experience in a building engineer capacity
- 2+ years of experience in a building engineer capacity
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Comfortable working on computers
- Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing
- Over 18 years of age
