Job Summary
Facility Engineer roles across II, III, and Sr levels involve leading mid-sized to large-scale engineering assignments within natural gas/petrochemical facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining safe operation and high reliability, optimizing facility processes and control systems, managing life-critical processes and safety programs (MOCs, PSSRs, PHA, Lockout/Tagout), delivering capital expansion and improvement projects, collaborating with facility personnel and engineering peers, and developing through internal training and leader engagement. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or engineering technology with PE license) and substantial engineering experience in the natural gas/petrochemical industry; travel up to 50% may be required, and a PE license is included in the accepted paths.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Minimum eight years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry (for Sr) or four years (for III) or two years (for II) as per level
- PE license or eligibility (preferred/required path as described)
- Experience with safety processes and industry standards
- Ability to manage capital projects and provide technical ownership
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
