Facility Electrician

Analyze electrical drawings and specifications to troubleshoot, repair, and replace components of normal and emergency power systems up to 600V. Install circuits, equipment, and appliances including grounding leads, lighting fixtures, and life safety systems while measuring, cutting, and threading conduits. Perform weekly test runs of emergency diesel generators and inspect lighting, alarm, HVAC, and medical equipment systems. Trace circuits, isolate faults, and replace faulty components such as switches, sockets, and ballasts. Implement scheduled preventive maintenance for power equipment, transformers, breakers, and HVAC devices. Keep work areas orderly, clean, and safe while ensuring proper care of equipment and supplies.
