Facility Educator

Understand and apply OBRA Regulations and adult learning principles to collaborate with facility directors on staff orientation and education. Conduct competency assessments for medically complex patients and regularly evaluate facility education needs to identify improvement areas. Direct in-service educational programs ensuring compliance with Federal, OSHA, State, and JACHO regulations by preparing instructional materials and scheduling training. Assess staff learning needs through observation and program evaluation, then facilitate training for electronic software, CPR certifications, and required clinical skills. Maintain attendance documentation and coordinate the Employee Health Program while assisting licensed personnel in obtaining current certifications.
