Job Summary
Monitor transportation schedules and safely transport clients for admissions, discharges, and appointments. Collect and deliver external appointment documentation and lab specimens. Engage clients on a peer support level during transport and assist with luggage. Maintain vehicle readiness by ensuring it is well-maintained, fully fueled, and ready for use. Perform custodial and maintenance duties when not actively engaged in transport. This 1099 contract position involves PRN hours as needed at the Avenues Recovery Center facility in Jamison, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state-issued driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 1-year experience in treatment industry preferred
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Dignified, respectable character which reflects recovery principles
- Extensive knowledge of all motor vehicle laws
