Job Summary
Facility Coordinator role in a manufacturing environment focused on administrative, operational, and maintenance support. Responsibilities include coordinating daily office administration, facility operations, and building maintenance; managing maintenance requests, inspections, and preventive maintenance through a work order system or CMMS; maintaining relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers; handling purchase orders, invoices, and maintenance supplies; ensuring safety compliance and accurate recordkeeping; supporting onboarding, badge access, and workplace needs; assisting with office moves and event coordination; and participating in routine facility inspections and emergency preparedness. Required: high school diploma or equivalent, experience in facilities management or office coordination, strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS, and ability to coordinate multiple service providers and manage documentation. Preferred: knowledge of manufacturing operations and OSHA documentation; budgeting/recordkeeping experience; ability to read blueprints/floor plans; capability to work independently and collaboratively.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in facilities management, office administration, or property coordination, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management systems (CMMS)
- Ability to manage vendors and coordinate multiple service providers effectively
- Basic knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and workplace safety standards
