Job Summary
Conduct detailed cleaning of cabins, bathhouses, and interior public spaces at Hersheypark Camping Resort. Wash dishes, do laundry, and pick up trash around cabins and sites while operating cleaning equipment and chemicals. Clean fire pits and manage multiple priorities within a specified time frame to clean 6 to 8 cabins. Drive a golf cart and maintain good physical conditioning to lift up to 60 lbs, stand, walk, squat, and climb ladders 90% of the shift. Work in various weather conditions including extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- General knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning
- Ability to drive a golf cart
- Organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Positive, professional employee and guest relations skills
- Self-starter capability
- Ability to handle multiple priorities at once
- Ability to understand instructions, both written and verbal
- Ability to clean 6 to 8 cabins within a specified time period
- Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies
- Complete mobility and good physical conditioning
- Good hearing and vision
- Ability to work in a combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to push/pull/lift a maximum of 60 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, climb ladders 90% of the shift
- Ability to safely use chemicals in and around the workplace meeting OSHA standards
