Facility Care

Facility Care role supporting parish activities by setting up event spaces, maintaining parish buildings and grounds, and performing janitorial and maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include completing event setup per room requests, maintaining filing systems for event requests, cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, dusting, windows, restrooms, kitchen/pantry), performing preventive maintenance, grounds and minor landscaping/irrigation, replacing air filters, lighting maintenance, coordinating with outside contractors for repairs, conducting inventory of supplies and tools, assisting other facilities staff, and adhering to safety and environmental policies. Requires teamwork, physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (up to 90 pounds), ability to operate tools and a vehicle, and English communication. Schedule typically Saturday through Wednesday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM with potential for rotating coverage including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events; Background check and Diocesan Safe Environment Training required; Arizona driver’s license and transportation required; two years of maintenance/custodial experience preferred.
