Job Summary
Custodian role focused on maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming Movati Athletic club facilities. Responsibilities include ensuring facilities are healthy, sanitary, and orderly; conducting routine building and grounds maintenance; meeting deadlines based on club traffic and member expectations; escalating custodial, maintenance, or safety issues to the Facilities Services Manager; and following WHMIS and Workplace Health & Safety policies. Week‐to‐week hours are 12–30, with work involving the women’s only area and on‐site duties at the Guelph, ON location.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform indoor and outdoor work year-round in various weather conditions
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and multiple physical actions (sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling)
- Ability to lift medium to heavy objects
- Experience with maintaining cleanliness, safety and sanitary standards (WHMIS/ Workplace Health & Safety policies)
- Availability of 12 - 30 hours per week
