Job Summary
Facility Assistant at Parrish & Heimbecker in Viking, AB. Responsible for handling crop inputs, unloading and delivering products, assisting in warehouse operations (sorting seed, stacking chemicals, transferring bulk product into totes), preparing custom application equipment, regular facility maintenance and housekeeping, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, and performing exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or farming
- Experience working in a customer service role is a plus
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must be able to work in environments subject to dust and allergens
- Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions
